The highly successful author of The Empyrean series has announced his next book, and no, it has nothing to do with those Romantasy books. Jarosz has written a new contemporary romance titled Peculiar Stars, which has been described as a “drift romance.” In the book, Calista is stranded on an island by a cyclone that crash-lands her in a slow-moving romance with her fiancé’s cousin. The Book Riot staff was unanimously delighted. manchester journalProfile of Pug at the Dorset Village Public Library in Vermont. Our Chief of Staff, Rebecca Joynes Sinski, had the privilege of meeting literary luminaries Anouk and Toby in person at the prestigious New England facility (proof is in BLEP). Rescue Pug is actually the successor to the deceased OGs Mila and Chewie. We have merchandise, we have fans, and we live a happy life surrounded by books. Utah adds two more books to banned list. Currently illegal in public schools in 34 states
Utah has a law on the books banning blitzes in 2026. This week, the state added two more books to the list of books that must be removed from all public schools in the state. This comes amid a lawsuit filed in February challenging these state-sanctioned bans, and after four books were banned just 10 days earlier.
