Grady Hendrix keeps it weird
Life as a Performance Art is one of my favorite author profiles, so I spoon-fed Travis M. Andrew’s new profile of Grady Hendrix. Hendricks, described by his manager as “the PT Barnum of horror,” is as strange and goofy in real life as he is on paper. I just read his first work, Witchcraft for Wayward Girls, which was released today, and it’s a hell of a lot of fun. I don’t care if the argument is real or fake, but I tend to think it’s the former. Either way, I’ll never turn down a story from a reporter who runs around with an author for a few days trying to figure out what excites them.
