Jenna Ortega stars as Clara, and Amy Adams plays the mother of the girl Clara helps. Sony Pictures revealed this week that the film will be released in theaters on October 23rd.
📘 The Lord of the Rings: The Hunt for Gollum: Warner Bros. and New Line have announced the cast for the upcoming film. lord of the rings expanded universe. Leading the headlines is Jamie Dornan, who will play Strider (aka Aragorn) after Viggo Mortensen refused to return to the role. Leo Woodall and Kate Winslet join the cast, with Lee Pace returning to the role of Thranduil. Ian McKellen and Elijah Wood reprise their iconic turns as Gandalf and Frodo. The film is currently scheduled for release on December 17, 2027.
🔥 children of blood and bones: Paramount has released the first footage from the long-awaited film adaptation of Tomi Adeyemi’s beloved YA fantasy novel. The teaser hasn’t been released online yet, but there’s plenty of reason to be excited. The cast includes Cynthia Erivo, Idris Elba, Amandla Stenberg, Damson Idris, and Regina King, just to name a few. Adeyemi co-wrote the script with Gina Prince-Bythewood, who also directed the film. It will hit the screens on January 15, 2027.

The studio has shared the first footage of Johnny Depp (why??) playing Scrooge in the upcoming film adaptation of Charles Dickens’ holiday classic. Let’s hope the studio heads are visited by the three ghosts and have a change of heart before the film’s scheduled release on November 13th.
