2026 Ursula K. Le Guin Award Shortlist for Fiction
The Ursula K. Le Guin Fiction Prize recognizes “realists of a greater reality who can imagine real grounds for hope and find alternatives to the way we currently live.” This year’s finalists included Nicola Griffiths, Matt Johnson, Fonda Lee, Darcy Little Badger and Peter Locke, making for quite the panel. The winner will be announced on October 21, Le Guin’s birthday, and will receive a prize of $25,000.
