Booksology Awarded to the top 10 in the Chandrakumar De Book Review Competition in Kendua

Top 10 among the participants were awarded in ‘Chandrakumar De Book Review Competition 2026’ organized in Kendua Upazila of Netrakona district.
On Friday (May 29) afternoon, the awards were officially handed over to the winners at the Upazila Parishad conference room.
The awardees are Wasimul Bari Shaik of Anandmohan College, Khan Shahriar Faisal of Dhaka University, Bulbul Ahmed of National University, National Poet Kazi Nazrul of Islam University. Dilowar Hossain, Bangladesh Agricultural University. Sohel Rana, Sylhet Agricultural University. Tahrim Kabir Riyad, Government Titumir College. Hasan Miah, Mohammad Sumon of Netrakona Government College, Sidratul Muntaha Shreyasi of Kendua Government College and Hriday Kishore Saurabh of Jahangirnagar University.
The organizer of the competition, Member of Parliament of Netrakona-3 (Atpara-Kendua) constituency, was present as the chief guest at the event Rafiqul Islam Hilali.
Upazila BNP president Zainal Abedin Bhuiyan presided over the program and Netrokona University student Hafsa Akhter Moh. The upazila executive officer was present as a special guest. Rifatul Islam
The main speaker was Kavi Saroj Mostafa, Head Assistant Professor of Bengali Department of Netrakona Government College. In addition, the teacher of Netrakona University spoke as a co-disputer. Saddam Hussein and Prothom Alo netrakona representative Pallab Chakraborty.
At the end of the ceremony, the guests handed over certificates, crests and books to the winners.
It should be noted that Chandrakumar Dey, the collector of numerous editions of ‘Mymensingh Geetika’, is not only a collector; He was an essayist, storyteller and poet. Born in Aithor village of Kendua upazila in 1889, this virtuous person died in 1946.
Chandrakumar Dey’s literary work and contribution to the new generation, the local member of parliament. Rafiqul Islam Hilali organized ‘Chandrakumar De Book Review Competition 2026’. About 150 participants submitted their reviews to the contest. From there the top 10 are selected and awarded.
