Spotify announces Mental Health Fiction Awards
Spotify has launched a new program to support fiction exploring mental health. Created in collaboration with the Jed Foundation and The Black List, the Spotify X Jed Impact Awards introduces five authors of unpublished manuscripts featuring mental health stories to $10,000 each. The program accepts submissions by July 8th and announces the winners on the World Mental Health Day on October 10th. In addition to the prize money, winners will receive individual consultations with the JED Foundation. Also, up to 140 contestants receive free hosting and ratings from the blacklist, access to the Jed Foundation resource hub, and stories about supporting writers who try to maintain their mental health and their happiness.
