What happened to ya
Would you like to sign up for what’s going on in YA? To receive all the literature of young adult.
We’ve put together a big summary that was positioned to be the biggest in the first part of 2025 in the fall of YA’s books in the fall of 2024. You can see the print run correctly in ads Avatar, the last airbender: Roku’s calculation Randy Ribay:
Let’s do it again, but let’s take a look at what the biggest book of Fall 2025 looks like. These are based on the last one above, titles that boast a considerable print run and have won more space in a particular publisher catalog. If you work in a place where young people are looking for books, such as libraries or classrooms, we recommend pre-ordering these. If you’re just a lover of everything, well, here’s your chance to preempt the curve with something hot at the beginning of the new year.
I’ve divided this into two lists. All the books considered in these lists are from the Big Five Publisher for simple reasons. It’s a bit surprising that despite a better job of publishing books by people of color, they still don’t get the same level of marketing/advertising cash as white authors.
In this first list, each book is expected to start with 100,000 copies if that information is provided. I would like to note what is listed in each catalog entry and point out that some of these feature not only hardcover editions, but also important prints in the publication of the Deluxe Edition at the same time. Some paperbacks also have pretty impressive numbers.
There are 100,000 print runs Huge. Also, while it doesn’t necessarily mean that many copies will be published, the intention behind the book being the lead title is a pretty certain indication.
The second is for publishers that do not provide information on how to execute the printing. Some publishers, such as Penguin Random House and Scholastic, should not include this in their catalogs. I pulled out the title with flashy ads in the catalog. It’s the pre-publication spending they are making in the hopes of attracting the attention of future bulk buyers.
Something worth noting about this season’s blockbuster book: There’s a lot of money put into romance. Hopefully, this will come with a great return, but there is definitely some uncertainty here, given that the publisher’s weekly magazine reported on the softness of the sale of adult book romance earlier this month. There are also plenty of familiar names during the Big YA Books fall 2025, and you can also find titles from the BestSeller series. I did do not have It is reprinted or advertised in flashy hardcover or paperback editions, including the title here. I wanted this to be about a new book, but now the old title hasn’t been repackaged for the special edition audience (example is Sabaa Tahir’s Heirs Or reissue the perks of being a wallflower by Stephen Chbosky).
The biggest YA book for fall 2025
By performing well-known printing

Grimm and Oro by Alex Astor (September 30)
What’s noteworthy about fall is the release of several hardcover novels. But “novels” seem a bit of a false reputation. Set in the world of Aster’s Lightlerk, this binding power of the novel appears on a whopping 504 pages. This averages 250 pages per “novel.”
This is expected to produce 600,000 print runs. Upcoming collector and paperback editions of Nightbane and Skyshade also have wild print runs at 300,000 and 500,000 respectively.

Seven Fatal Thorns by Amber Hamilton (November 4)
This Dark Academia Romantasy combines several favorites among YA readers, and the publisher has placed a big bet on this debut author with 300,000 first print runs.

Sisters of the Wind by Angeline Boulley (September 2)
It’s no surprise to see Boulley’s next standalone thriller watch 250,000 print runs. Since her debut, she has gained a strong reputation as a YA writer. The story follows foster care teens who work to assert her legacy.

A very cold fate by Amanda Hoodie and C.L. Herman (November 4)
Very cold fate It’s not a big surprise to see that there are 250,000 major first printings, as it’s the second dulogy by writing the duo Foody and Herman. It is a chosen two-storey building about magic tied to the seasons.

Romance Archives by Ava Reid (December 9th)
Ava Reid has published several YA books this year, and her reputation continues to grow as a writer in the category. This is a novel added to her “Study of Drunk” series, and as mentioned above, this “novel” puts the clock in the size of a normal novel of 250 pages. It is published in full color and includes letters, poetry, art and ephemera as real fan service for its readers.
This will give you 250,000 prints.

House Saffir by Marissa Meyer (November 4)
The author who became a staple at YA is Marissa Meyer, and she has her fresh take on the shelves of Bluebeared Hits this fall. Especially in the fall of 2028, the Chronicles of the Moon will be on the deck for animated, so I think we’ll see more about Myers and her work in the coming months and years.
Her latest book has 200,000 prints.
Also, note that November 4th looks like the big hit YA release date. Bookstores and libraries will be busy.

Make a Kalynn Bayron monster (September 30)
Kaylann Bayron is one of the hardest-working writers of children’s literature, and her profile continues to be the go-to for all speculative fiction (for my money, we’re the underrated gem of her short stories that come out in the night!).
According to the description, her next book, “Frankenstein’s Horror Romance,” will showcase the first print of 200,000. I’m here!
The following YA titles have 150,000 print runs.
The following YA titles have 125 print runs:
The following YA titles have 100,000 print runs.
The other two books I wanted to include on the Big Print Run list were not on the 100,000 mark. Thorn season by Kiera Hazard (yes, Romantagy) and flip by Ngozi ukazu (with 95,000 print runs between simultaneous hardback and paperback releases).
With flashy advertising and exhibition opportunities
Even if you don’t have the execution number for the prints you want to share, here’s what publishers are already heavily advertising: You know they are well positioned by including book displays in Edelweiss bonus ads and publisher catalogs.
It’s no surprise to see many familiar names here, as well as popular series and franchises.
It will be a busy fall and we are looking for a lot of great reads. This will only damage the surface of what hits the shelf in the second half of 2025.
