The author of the Gossip Girl YA series is writing a standalone sequel that will focus on the character Blair Waldorf. The new book is Blairfollows the titular character 20 years after graduating from the Constance Billard School for Girls. and! news Fans point out that their favorite on-screen romance centers around Chuck Bass, but Blair’s romance in the book is with Nate Archibald. The latest Gossip Girl issue is tentatively scheduled for release in summer 2027, so readers won’t know for a while what this means for Blair in the sequel.
