And there are all the books! There are many romance books recently published, especially by the author of Bipoc, which deserves a cry of a thing. Below you’ll find everything from epic romance to alien aiding to lightly magical middle-aged romances.
Monsoon Rising by Thea Guanzon (Hurricane War)
For spoilers, I don’t usually include sequels on the list, but we’re talking about new romances, so the first of this series (Hurricane War) did the book count last year, so I’m here Added. It takes place in a Southeast Asian world, and The romance at the center of it is my favorite (your girl likes the tension of her romance lil, a little spice, a little seasoning). But I’ll leave it cute with spoilers. What I say to you is that the first book follows Tarasin, who grew up orphans during the Hurricane War, counting soldiers fighting freedom as her family. One day, Prince Alaric sees Tarasin’s unusual magic on the battlefield, and a tense alliance forms against the larger threat. But their union can either save their world or destined it forever.

I’ve been accused of an alien, and now I’m trapped on rom-com by Kimberly Lemming
Finally, I’ve finally started reading Lemming’s Mead and Mishaps series. It’s ridiculous, fun and spicy, like everyone said. I’m hoping for the same thing as her latest one, but probably on an updated timeline. Instead of spice farmers and cheese makers, we follow Dorothy Valentine. Dorothy Valentine is approaching earning her PhD in Wildlife Biology when attacked by a lion (!). She is saved because she is being accused of an alien (!!). She is named cool to eventually team up with the aforementioned lion and escape in the pod. On top of that, she gets caught up in a sexy adventure with two (two!) aliens, one of which could be a war criminal. As they cross the new planet, Dorothy wonders if she wants to go home.

Broposal by Sonora Reyes
National Book Award finalist Sonora Reyes, author of the Catholic School of Lezbiana and the Guide to the Lewis Ortega Survival Club, is making her adult debut in this strange marriage romance. The “friends” part of “Broposal” comes from Love Shy Alejandro (Han) and his roommate/Best Kenny. From je, Kenny’s girlfriend lets him choose between her and the friendship with Han, and he knows immediately what he has to do. However, Kenny is not the best on his own, and when Han loses a big chance of getting a work visa, the two do something dramatic. They get married and while Kenny does it for Han’s safety, he also keeps it understated to do his ex-jealousy. The thing is that there is real feelings buried beneath all the pettiness and anxiety.

I think they love you Julian Winters
Denzel Carter’s father suddenly announced his retirement as CEO of 24 Carter Gold. And now he is in a hurry to convince his judgement family that he can process his commitment and take up the place of his father. He thinks that getting a (fake) boyfriend proves his seriousness, so ask him Jamie, his best friend, because his family already knows and likes him. Masu. But then Jamie does not appear, and the only person Denz can think of asking is Braylon, the one who broke his heart. Now Braylon agrees – he has his own promotion that can be supported by Dentz’s connections after all – but then the charming text and confounding kisses are apparently all he and Dez are going on. Jumble business situation.

Lost to Tati Richardson
This promises a golden age of real-life black romance and features a protagonist over the age of 40 (this is what makes me surprised that I haven’t seen any more). Tanica Ryan continues it until her bad eyesight loses her Thursday night soccer sports reporter job to young and fewer women’s jobs. When she gets into an almost fatal accident, she rushes to a taxonomist. It is through Gideon that she obtains her seductive glasses, and her world will change forever.

This is Laurer’s love song
This ROM-COM is soaked in Chinese tradition and tea.
Kreissey Hua Williams is a herbalist, and her almost tenth breakup may be beginning to make her believe in the curse of her family. Luckily, she runs a special healing retreat centre for broken hearts with her aunt, but even that sways a bit when she comes across celebrity cellist Vinh Chao. Vin is a slightly bad boy rebel, so the encounter shakes some tongues. This might be a good thing. He makes Kreissie the offer. They can take a fake date, he will break her heart and they will both benefit. He will increase ticket sales and she will get promotions for her business. The thing is, there is a lot of chemistry between them, whether it is a curse or not.
