Booksology To do this, we asked all of our editorial writers and staff, from our CEO to our newest employees, to nominate titles in categories they were knowledgeable about. From there, staff-appointed editors sorted through the list, weighed titles from multiple nominations, considered any context provided as to why a title was nominated, and identified groundbreaking works that should be included. While we can’t include every title that every reader thinks should be included, we can say that we took each list seriously and made thoughtful decisions.
From the beginning of 2026 until the end of 2026, we will release lists for the following categories monthly (sometimes semi-monthly) and link them here so you can find all added lists in one place.
