Queer characters take center stage bridgerton season 5
They are coming to the mansion. Netflix announced Season 5 of Bridgerton yesterday with a teaser that reveals the series’ first big queer story, with Francesca and Michaela standing shoulder to shoulder on a balcony, giving each other a knowing look and reaching out for each other’s hands. According to a Netflix release, the season focuses on Francesca Bridgerton, the quiet middle daughter of the family, who returns to the marriage market for purely practical reasons two years after losing her husband John. When John’s cousin Michaela shows up in London to take charge of the Kilmartin estate, Francesca’s very clever plan suddenly begins to look less certain. Bridgerton season 5 will include eight episodes. The release date has not been determined.
