Keep fun and easy this Friday. The first part of Hunger Games doesn’t stop, and the headlines don’t stop. It’s a bit wild that’s already casting news for an adaptation of a book that appeared on the shelves just a month ago. Anyway, the rumors about Haymitch Abernathy and Lenore Dove Baird were wrong. Joseph Zada plays Abernathy and Whitney Peak plays Haymitch’s girlfriend. It sounds like both Zada and Peak are in the early stages of their careers. Congratulations to star in a franchise as big as the Hunger Games, as it really allows the actors to be put on the map! Hollywood Reporter The story doesn’t include any other casting notes, so we’ll see if rumors arise under Coriolanus Snow, Drusilla, or other familiar names.

Wimpy Kid’s Diary The author donates so many books
This is the perfect thing to finish your week. In the 20th book in the diary of the Wimpy Kid series Nigh, the book author, Jeff Kinney, announced that he will partner with the first book of the nonprofit to donate 20,000 books each month, until he launches 160,000 books nationwide. Books are sent to underserved communities nationwide. Read all about it here.
