  • This is truly amazing and important about the lack of YA’s books, centered around Black American Muslim teens. As YA continues to grow in its inclusiveness, these types of works are important to continue to defend more.
  • As anyone who has read YA for a long time knows, there is the perception that YA has aged its protagonist. There are several studies to support awareness of data.
  • What’s related is another upcoming imprint focusing on adult YA crossover titles. It’s no surprise to see this because it’s the place for money right now (at least the fourth of last year or two years, and using “older” YA/adult YA leaders to follow a pair of Saturday’s books, requited, and “labeled” imprints).
