Booksology The official trailer was released for the adaptation of the Apple TV+ series of Martha Wells bestseller and award-winning book series The Murderbot Diaries.
The trailer sees an SEC unit of the same name (or “security unit”), named MurderBot, being hired by a crew of scientists for security details. It was eventually discovered that it hijacked its own system and became “fraud.” Going to the Rogue essentially means that it has free will rather than being controlled as a security/cyborg murder. And it naturally uses this free will to monitor the time in “content” time. The rising and falling of the Sanctuary Moon.
However, the SEC unit was designed for violence and the crew were not sure they could trust it, so they quickly showed how free will was a problem. But the hostile environment they landed means they don’t have much choice.
The Star of Alexander Skarsgard, and his comedy timing, blends perfectly with the nasty temperament of the murder bot, but the rest of the cast (david dasmarchia as Gratin, Noma Dumezweni as Dr. Noma Dumezweni as Aksha Kanna, like Ratoti.
The series will debut on May 16th this year, but if you want to listen to and prepare for the extremely entertaining (and hilarious) murder bot series before the season 1 drop, the award-winning Kevin R. Free’s narration is perfect.
