Michael B. Jordan, the production company that will produce the television adaptation of Rebecca Yarosz’s best-selling Empyrean series, has released an update on the television series. October 2023. Jordan said:

“We’re making sure it’s going to be an exciting show that delivers everything the fans want and some of the things they didn’t expect,” Jordan explained. “But believe me, we know how much this franchise IP is loved. We’re working hard… We’re in the lab, we’re preparing. We know it. It’s almost there. It’s early days, but we feel how much people care about this work. We haven’t forgotten that.”
Jarosz, who serves as executive producer, also expressed satisfaction with the scripts he has read so far. While that’s exciting news for fans, it might not be as exciting as knowing the premiere date.

A third of the 2,000 readers who submitted responses imagined a romance novel character as a sexual partner. It also found that more than half of respondents believe women are becoming more open about their secret desires. Generational impact of book bans on teens
These young people have grown up in a system modeled by partisan parental rights groups that teaches them that the only thing that matters when reading is to count carefully chosen sentences and profanity. These young people have had varying levels of access to digital tools such as schools, public libraries, and information databases. While students from wealthy backgrounds in states where book censorship is rampant will be fine (that’s by design), many students will begin higher education at a significant disadvantage compared to students in states where access to literature is better protected.
