That’s true, but I think we should focus on the entire A Song of Fire and Ice series, which has (so far?) five books, so we’ll start from the beginning. Although it wasn’t as much of a bestseller when it first came out as it is today, the first book developed a loyal and vocal following. Then, a sequel book was released, continuing the dark fantasy epic of dragons, political intrigue, sex, betrayal, and revenge, which was later adapted into a film for HBO and became one of the biggest cultural phenomena of the century. It’s unclear whether another book in this series will be published, but there will always be Westeros.
