10 Before the End: Queer Books Edition
First, there are two books I must read by 2026. I’m currently reading The Curse of the Cole Women by Mariel Thompson (released December 2nd). I will be recommending this novel on the December 2nd episode of my podcast “All the Books.”
Another must-read for me is “The Lilac People” by Milo Todd. This is the trans historical novel I chose for my December book club.
As the weather gets cooler, I’m in the mood to read romance, so I’m hoping to read some romances between bisexual men and women in the coming weeks. Isn’t it obvious? Written by Rachel Lanya Katz, it’s a bi4bi romance I’ve heard great things about, with a subplot about running a queer book club for teenagers. my heart!
Another bi romance that interests me is You, Again by Kate Goldbeck. One of the reasons is that the cover is very autumnal, and one of the reasons is that I fell in love with this encounter. cute A tragedy in which the two main characters instantly become enemies after sleeping with the same woman.

All the other works are queer holiday reads, especially sapphic romances. I love reading seasonal books and am a big fan of sapphic Christmas romances. The first is Yours for the Season by Kate Cochran, which is also a book club selection.
Additionally, there are two sapphic YA holiday books by the same husband-and-wife author duo. They are “Joy to the Girls” (which is a sequel to “She Get the Girl”) and “Make My Wish Come True” by Alison Derrick and Rachel Lippincott.
Another sapphic YA romance on my list is I’ve Got My Love to Keep Me Warm by Mariamma J. Lockington.
Finally, I’ve been a fan of Daniel M. Lavery since his Dear Sugar days, so I’m looking forward to reading Christmas at the Women’s Hotel. But first I have to read “Women’s Hotel.” It has a lot of characters with different points of view, including a Sapphic character.
