Stephen King reflects on adaptations of his works

You can see how prolific Stephen King is. Four of his books have been made into movies or television this year alone. Two films will be released in theaters this season (long walk It’s out now. running man Drops on November 7th). That’s all lit hubKing reflects on what it means to have multiple generations of readers engage with his work on the page and screen. And he offers a solid “everything is cool” perspective on the conflict between book and movie.

I send books to shoots the same way parents send their kids off to college, hoping they do well and don’t fall into any of the pitfalls or traps along the way (drugs, booze, toxic relationships, elevator stuffing, goldfish swallowing). I will give advice if asked. Otherwise, I just keep my mouth shut and hope for the best, knowing that all the books, good, bad, and indifferent, are still on my bookshelf.

Two new children’s adaptations of Agatha Christie’s stories have been released in the UK today. This is a very lovely piece of work. This is the first time Christie’s work has been illustrated for preschoolers and children’s book readers. Two more will follow in February. We couldn’t find any information regarding eventual availability here in the US.
