Court of the Dead: Nico Di Angelo Adventure by Rick Riordan and Mark Osillo (From the World of Percy Jackson) (September 23)

The Sun and Stars were a big bestseller, but now they get a sequel from the same writing team! It’s a real gift to see the biggest and most popular middle grade fantasy series of Moment Center Queer Characters. I can’t say much about this Sun and starshowever, it certainly should be one of the biggest children’s releases of the year.

Sovereignty cover

The Sovereign by Cl Clark (September 30)

I’m very excited about this book, I could scream. This is my favorite fantasy series and I’ve now reached a conclusion. (I really can’t say anything else without spoilers.) That cover doesn’t relax my nerves about how this high stakes story ends.

For some reason, Cl Clark has another Sapphic fantasy, Fate’s Bane, on the same day.

A bite of dust cover by nghi vo (Singing Hill Cycle Book 6)

A bite of dust by nghi vo (singing hill cycle #6)

Sinding Hills Cycle is a popular fantasy novel series starring non-binary cleric Chi, wandering around singing the hills and documenting people’s stories. This means that you can read these books in any order. in A bite of dustQi wants to learn more about the legendary hunger that dusted down the royal luxury meals, but they are trapped in a mansion with a shadow of hungry…

The Keeper of the Magic Things Covered

The Guardian of Magic by Julie Leon (October 14th)

One of my favorite subgenres is a strange cozy fantasy, so I’m really looking forward to this. Look at that cute cover! There’s a flying cat! That continues with certainty. It’s a struggling novice magician, and he is paired with the brilliant, cold mage Aurelia to help out in a small, magical town. As they work together, Aurelia and certainty begin to question the magical hoarding of the Mage Guild.

The Island of Ginkai with a book cover by Tasha Suri

The Island of Ginkai by Tasha Squirrel (October 21st)

I loved Jasmine’s Throne so I’m excited to a) read the rest of the trilogy and b) read this standalone romantic novel. It takes place in England in “Fueled to the Story.” There, the witches Simran and the knight Vina are destined to fall in tragic love for the rest of their lives. What’s worse, assassins target stories like theirs. However, this time they are determined to write themselves as a better ending.

I would like to make an honorable mention of Brigands & Breadnives by Travis Baldree (November 11th), a sequel to Sapphic Cozy Fantasy Legends & Lattes. This has a different main character so I don’t know if it’s weird or not, but either way it’s expensive in my TBR!
