All publishers should do this with all adaptations

Last fall, I wondered if there was no narrated version of Vikd with evil narration ready to rock a few months before the film was announced. It was later than I thought. Now we get an Orivo narrating the prequel, Elphie. ah! Here’s the idea: Always do this for everything. A Dept Q series Narration audiobook must be available. There should be a Rebecca Ferguson narrated version of Chalamet or Isaac, Brolin, Zendaya, or Dune. And don’t start me with the Lupita Nyonggo version of Odyssey, which should exist (though I have to admit that the idea of the Bernsal version is interesting). Apparently the money is there, but I don’t know exactly.

Hachett reportedly acquired Joe Biden’s memoir for $10 million

Yes, this is much less than Obama and Clinton (both had two terms and were much more popular than Biden). And while I think I’ll still have a hard time gaining progress in the short term, I have a much less sense of how these memoirs, de facto historical documents, will do over the next few decades. No one knows who has defended a bit for this, but in 1981 he may have said the same thing to Jimmy Carter. Things may change.

It’s about as much as going to these historical rankings from 1995 to 30 years. In a strange year, I (Jeff) choose a single copy of an individual book in his top 10.
