Dua Lipa Book Club expands
Dua Lipa is filming a Spotify book club video series. Service95 Book Club is said to be “a space for enjoying everything about literature, including the monthly reading of DUA and exclusive Q&A between her and the author, as well as the release of the best new books, recommendations from our team, and how you can read the world differently.” The podcast featured both new interviews and conversations from the archives, and announced the DUA Summer Book Club Pick. They are: This house of sadness by Helen Garner, Number of dreams Fearless and free by Chimamanda Ngoji Adichie and Josephine Baker. Her current June reading is Basquiat, the widow by Jennifer Clement.

Everything has been animated! Next Dr. Who series
I’ve always wanted to join Dr. Who, but there are plenty of episodes. The fandom is so huge and passionate. It’s not cutting down on energy. And what do you guess? Dr. Who Franchise is even bigger and reaching out to Houbian, the youngest in the animated series that appears on the BBC’s preschool channel. The descriptions are in mind the Magic School Bus series (books and animated TV). If you can’t access cbeebies, I don’t know how to watch it, but hopefully you’ll eventually get to other streaming platforms.
2025 Women’s Award Winners for Fiction and Non-Fiction
The Women’s Award is one of the UK’s biggest awards for literary achievements. It is sent to authors identifying women of nationality who published English books in the UK the previous year. Founded in 1996, the award expanded in 2023 to include the Women’s Award in the non-fiction category. A long list of each category will be released in February (fiction and non-fiction), followed by a candidate list (fiction and non-fiction) in April.
