National Book Critics Circle is a nonprofit organization that serves a wide range of people involved in literary criticism. This includes professional reviewers, bloggers, publishing experts and more. Founded in April 1974 at the Algonquin Hotel, it aims to raise the Algonquin roundtable to the national level.
