Pen/Faulkner Award Longlist announced
Ten finalists for the Pen/Faulkner Award were announced this week. This combines stubbornness from the 2024 awards season with several titles. #4 In a personal power ranking of awards given to one book that Americans are qualified for. James, of course, is not surprising along with creative rake and colour television. I would have predicted more mentions about the mighty red at this point, so what is included here will lose the relative shutout tendency. Ghostroots is here and I’m glad to see it. Here are four or five titles that would not have been in my top 50 speculation, but they are always interesting.
