Expect more books please love me forever author
In bittersweet news, Robert Munsch, author of such unforgettable children’s classics as Love Forever and The Paper Bag Princess, will posthumously publish 50 of his unpublished books. Mansch, who was diagnosed with Parkinson’s disease and dementia, wanted to assure readers that they could still expect new work from him even after his death. The tolerances and restrictions that beloved authors place on their work as they plan their deaths (and whether those wishes are respected) have always been a major, and somewhat morbid, concern for readers and the publishing world. For example, I’ll never forget that Terry Pratchett instructed his estate to destroy a hard drive and the unfinished works stored on it with a steamroller, and that the act was carried out by a vintage vehicle named Lord Jericho.
