If you’ve heard this by Kristen Arnett, stop me (March 18th)

Kristen Arnett is a maestro of dark humor and is known for twisting the familiar set up into a fresh punch line. So when I heard she was writing a novel about a horny lesbian clown in Florida, I knew it would be just the right amount of dementia. It’s a hilarious book with an opening scene, and it’s so shocking and ridiculous that you’ll need to see what happens next. But that’s a lot more. It is a story about choosing laughter in tears, committing to bits, and pursuing high art in low places. If you hear this please stop me It’s a funny and emotionally resonating book with lots of tricks on the sleeves. – Sussy Damond
